Where Have I Been?

Fast foward......where have I been? Well, the computer crashed to the max and health issues again. I'm on the comeback trail though so......remember John Paul Jones!

Now heres a motley crew that I've had the pleasure of being friends with for 40 years. Steve and Mark have played an integral part in my life and I am blessed to have had them as friends for four decades now! Wow how time flies!!!

I have many inquiries about cantaloupe plants so here's a picture.

They are cucurbits like watermelons and have both the male and female (ovary) reproductive parts on the same plant as well.

The plants and melons look like something out of a sci-fi movie at this point gobbling up every inch of available space at a rate that is truely scary.

See what I mean!

Being a true Irish man I grow a little oxalis or shamrock to remind me of my heritage. Now that's a pretty green sight!

Most of my melons are way behind this season but there's always one that keeps the spirits high.... Stay tuned.
