Cooking the new batch

Take a look at this year's crop currently baking in the germination chamber.

It's time to get serious as the weather starts to warm our sandy-loam soil.


The trusty old germination chamber is cooking at a high temperature to force the seeds within to sprout and unfold new life.


A few good looking prospects have emerged and are basking under the lights! Only the strongest will survive. Such is life!


Thanks to my sister Bonnie for providing me with a nylon watermelon twirler to hang outside and encourage me to persevere.


Ok...by now I think everyone has figured out that I am a bit unusual and have some strange hobbies so here goes.... The following pictures are not for the squeamish...


I have two pet tarantulas! "Teenie & Weenie" Teenie is a male Rosehair and Weenie is female Brazilian Salmon. More later…
