Yes! We DO have melons!

Melons are finally growing in our patch. Family visit, meet our neighbor and the finches have flown the coop.

We've got melons! Tina hand pollinated several tiny melons and a few have finally taken off growing rapidly.


We may still be in the game! My brother and sister-in-law Billy and Robin who reside in Las Vegas, Nevada payed us a visit along with Mom and wished us well this season.


The wheat harvest is under way.


My neighbor, Bob Laseter, is hard at work long before most people rise in the morning.


These dedicated farm families keep America growing with the safest most plentiful food source in the world.


Have you hugged a farmer lately?


The hungry little finches have taken their maiden voyage into an uncertain but beautiful world.
