Oh Hail! Moles!!!

Both moles and hail invade the patch as we cope with Mother Nature.

Holy Moley!!! God's finest soil airator is wreaking havoc on the melon plants. When and if I catch this voracious intruder chances are I won't be able to publish the pictures. The plants have suffered extensive damage by the incessant tunneling of this *$^% mole. It's a battle of wits.


Oh hail!!! Pea sized hail descended upon us causing some stressful moments recently. Fortunately the damage was minimal to our plants but the cold weather that followed has stunted the pollinated ovaries.


Our secret fertilizer ingredient? Dude provides us with spotted fertilizer by recycling our lush pasture.


Tina's garden is doing well and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Why shouldn't all gardens look nice?

These plants are extremely tough and they don't give up easily
