IT'S OFFICIAL!!! A new Missouri State Record for The MelonMan!
"Catchup" caught up to 242 pounds and a new state record. See the pictures!

It's official! "Catchup" weighed in at an impressive 241.75 pounds and measured 40.5 inches long by 61.625 inches in circumference. By National and International rules it will be recorded as 242 pounds.

The melon did not reach it's inherited potential and was gaining two pounds a day when tragedy struck. It is not our place to question The Master Plan but to learn from our experience and apply it to future endeavors.

Special thanks to everyone who assembled and assisted us on such short notice. It is heartwarming to know that we have made friends with so many individuals in all walks of life.
We have many other pictures to share and locations where our largest giants can be seen coming soon. We'll post these pictures as they become available. Displaying our giants to the public is the most exciting part of the season. The real fun is just beginning as people stare in disbelief at what they see. Giant watermelons cross all barriers in society from young to old, all races and creeds with light hearted conversation. Stay tuned for captivating photos! |
